- Be at least 19 years old;
- Show proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Not had a real estate application or license rejected or revoked in any state within the past two years.
- Complete a 60 hour prelicense course and pass the state exam within a twelve month time period;
- Pass the licensing examination
- PLEASE NOTE: If you have been convicted of a felony or crime involving moral turpitude, you have the option of receiving a determination of licensing eligibilty by
completing the form below prior to taking the salesperson prelicense course or waiting until you submit your application for a temporary license. If you have never been
convicted, the form below does not have to be submitted.
- Be at least 19 years old.
- Show proof of high school diploma or GED.

- Must have held an active real estate salesperson license in any state for at least 24 months of the 36 month period immediately preceding the date of application.
- Complete a 60 hour, state approved prelicense course.
- Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 70% required to pass).
- Pass the state exam (grade of 70% required to pass).
- You must have a temporary license before any student may enroll in the post license course.
- Complete a 30 hour, state approved post license training course within 6 months of receiving your license in order to be issued an permanent license.
- Complete the 30 hour, post license course within 6 months of receiving your license in order to be on active status. It must be completed within 12 months to have an
inactive license.
- Every two years a total of fifteen (15) clock hours of continuing education prescribed by the Commission is required for renewal of an active license. The fifteen hour
continuing education course requirement is as follows:
- Remaining twelve (12) hours can be from general or prescribed courses.
- All sales agents renew on August 31st of every even year.
