- **Salesperson licenses are not issued independently. Salespersons must be licensed through a Michigan broker**
- Be at least 18 years old
- Complete a 40 hour, state approved prelicense course
- Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
- Pass the state exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
- Be at least 18 years old
- Must pass the state exam within 36 months of completing the prelicense course
- Must have at least three years of experience as a licensed salesperson
- Complete a 90 hour, state approved prelicense course
- Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
- Pass the state exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
- Every three years, a total of eighteen (18) clock hours of continuing education
- 2 hours each year must include law and court cases
- Remaining twelve hours can be from general or prescribed courses
- All licensees must renew by October 31st every three years
