- Complete a 45 hour, state approved prelicense course
- Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
- Pass the state exam (grade of 75% required to pass)
- Must have at least two years of experience as a licensed salesperson in the years preceding the application
- Complete a 60 hour, state approved prelicense course
- Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
- Pass the state exam (grade of 75% required to pass)
- Salespersons must complete a 15 hour post license course
- Every two years, a total of sixteen (16) clock hours of continuing education
- 6 hours of any elective required in the first year
- Remaining ten hours can be from general or prescribed courses
- All licensees renew by December 31st every two years from the initial date of licensure
