Pennsylvania Detailed Real Estate Education Requirements Sales License - Must complete the prelicense course within three years of applying for licensure
- Complete a 60 hour, state approved prelicense course
- Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
- Pass the state exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
Broker’s License - Show proof of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least three years of experience as a licensed salesperson
- Complete a 180 hour, state approved prelicense course
- Pass a proctored final exam (grade of 70% required to pass)
- Pass the state exam (grade of 75% required to pass)
Continuing Education - A total of 14 elective hours every two years
Renewals - All licensees renew by May 31st of every even-numbered year
